All animals are heterotrophic; some animals are herbivores (they eat plants) some are carnivores (they eat other animals) and some are omnivores (they eat meat and plants). They are eukaryotic, multicellular organisms. Some animals fly, some swim, and some walk. Some animals live in water and some live on land. they live all over the earth but some places have more species than other places. They come in all shapes and sizes, and are made with many different physical and mental characteristics. All animals reproduce sexually. They have some kind of skeletal support. Animals breathe out carbon dioxide for the plants; without this plants would die and animals would have no oxygen, also dying.
