Fungi are Eukaryotic, non vascular, most are multi-celled organisms. Some fungi grow from a stem, at the top of the stem is a cap that have gills underneath that hold sex spores. Depending on the species, they can reproduce sexually and asexually. Gill fungi reproduce by releasing spores from under their caps that are spread by wind, water, and animals. These spores can be whole or half of a gamete. They produce sexually by releasing spores that need another spore of the opposite sex to grow. To produce asexually they release the spores and they grow when the environment conditions are right. Fungi are not motile organisms, they stay where they start growing. They grow on trees, and fruits, and other plants. you can find them on food, and sometimes on animals. They eat by absorbing the nutrients around them. Fungi are important because, like bacteria, they can turn wastes into a form that is reusable. Some species of fungi can provide food for some animals. the medicine penicillin is made from one type of fungi.
